Rude Awakenings!

We all get woken up by a little angels in one way or another. Whether it's during the night and they're being a pain (as happens ever now and then!), or first thing in the morning when you just really don't want to get out from under those warm, cozy covers, it is not always easy to drag yourself out of bed and on duty...

And then there's those mornings when they wake you up in such a way that your hearts pounding out of your chest! Just like the way Janaya woke me up this morning :(

SCREAMING! I thought I'd have a heart attack with how fast my heart was racing, it was horrible, but I didn't even think about it until I raced into my daughters room, scooped her up off the floor - yes, the floor - and into my arms.

Normally she wakes up and plays and babbles and dozes until about 9ish, but she didn't wake me up like she normally would. I guess she thought it would be more fun to try and get out of bed herself!!!

And then was the thump that woke me up!

And now we're talking about moving from the cot to a toddler bed... a little sooner than I'd like, but she's a tall girl and I kind of figured she'd climb out sooner than most :( She HAD to take after her father, didn't she!!!

DH was stressing after that coz I still have my single bed from when I went into a "Big Girls Bed" and was planning on putting Janaya in that with a bed rail. But, after Janaya fell out of her cot, he was panicked that she would fall out of the bed and wants to buy a Toddler Bed. But we had decided to try the single bed first so we might be able to save that money for something else as money is always tight this time of year!

You know how I convinced him to still use the single bed? Storage! Men are so funny! The minute I mentioned that we'd have to store the cot AND the single bed, and later the cot AND the Toddler Bed, he was back on side.

And now, the next stage of my little girls life is about to begin! I can't believe it, she's growing up waaaaay too fast :(
